Hey, hi!
I'm Lauren, a lover of all things creative.
If my hands aren't making something, my heart isn't happy.
From East to West coast and back, I have been dabbling in all kinds of art for about 10 years. Acrylic paint is my main medium, though yarn and wood hold a huge part of my he(art). After losing my father in May 2022 I began painting large scale pieces, in reflection of what a large heart my dad had, and are now my favorite things to create.
The majority of my work is self-initiated. It is focused in creating something visually pleasing while holding meaning. Most of what I make is based on places I have been, memories I have made, or with free-form styles unique to my brain, and my brain only.
My commission work primarily consists of crochet clothing and acrylic landscape paintings along with wood burned designs.
I have experience in event invitation creation and design, ceramics, paper crafting, fiber arts, painting, pyrography (wood-burning), furniture refurbishing, and food decorating.
There is no one art that speaks to me more than others, hence my "Jill-of-all-Trades" style. Aside from my Nephew and Nieces, the joy I feel when I produce something a client truly loves is one of my greatest joys.
